What are the skincare steps?

Step 1: Cleanse – Deep cleanse your face with a liquid or gel cleanser every evening. This will ensure that you remove dirt, makeup and toxins which contribute to clogged pores, break outs and free radical damage. Lightly clean your face with a pad or a cleanser in the morning. This will remove oil and product build up so your new products sink in and your makeup stays put.

Step 2: Exfoliate/Tone – You want to be sure to exfoliate at least 3 times a week. Exfoliating removes dead, dull and rough skin so your products sink in better. When you get blemishes or have dry skin that nothing helps, it is usually because you need to exfoliate off the dead skin cells for your products to be able to penetrate to the living cells. After you cleanse is also the time you want to use your toners and mists to ensure that the vitamins, minerals, plants and flowers in your toners re able to penetrate.

Step 3: Treat/Correct – Once you have cleansed and toned, your skin is ready for active ingredients to penetrate deeply and create improvement. Masks and Serums fit into the category and are filled with active ingredients that are designed to improve the appearance of pores, lines, pigmentation, hydration, etc…

Step 4: Hydrate/Protect – To get the maximum benefit of the treatments, masks and serums you just applied you want to make sure to apply a hydrating cream or lotion to protect your skin and a natural sunscreen if you will be out in the sun.
